My Approach

Today’s barrage of nutrition information and fad diets creates confusion and doubt about the best way to nourish your body. Our fast-paced lives and increasingly rapid environmental changes put unprecedented stress on our bodies and minds. Maintaining a diet that provides the nutrients needed to strengthen our immune system and support stress adaptation has never been more essential. The pressure to perform while looking our best creates enormous pressure to have the "perfect diet," often resulting in a dysfunctional relationship with food.

With over ten years of clinical nutrition counseling experience, my passion is connecting with clients and equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve their health goals.

Our consultation will clarify your goals, identify potential barriers to change, and culminate in a comprehensive plan with the framework for behavioral change.

Your consultation begins with a functional assessment of lifestyle, eating patterns, health history, biomarkers, and nutritional signs and symptoms. During our consultation, we will explore your beliefs and attitudes about food and the impact on eating behaviors. I would describe my counseling style as a unique blend of therapeutic and integrative nutrition counseling, including intuitive eating counseling, mindful eating skills, evidence-based nutrition therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Your nutrition plan encompasses recommendations for eating patterns, meal planning, food choices, functional foods, supplements, and lifestyle changes to support health goals.

I invite you to explore our Services page to learn more about our consultations.
